About Runner's Studio

From one runner to another, I want to thank you for your interest in Runner's Studio. In 2006, I was doing the same thing you are doing right now - looking for a running log program to track my training runs. In my search, I stumbled on a few good web sites that offered some features I was interested in. However, I was looking for an application which ran on my computer - and not over the web. Why? That answer may not be obvious but it's an easy one. Running is something that pays off over time. It's a commitment. I wanted to use a program I knew would be around in 5 years. The last thing I wanted to do was to put all of my running information into a web site for a few years and all of a sudden the site just ... well.. go away.

Next, I focused my search for desktop applications. A desktop application is ideal because the software would belong to me - forever. I did manage to find a small handful of applications, but, to be honest, they looked like they were just thrown together. I take pride in my running. I wanted to use an application I could have pride in as well. I just could not find anything. Thus, Runner's Studio was conceived!

If you download and try Runner's Studio, I think you will find it is different than any other application you have used. As crazy as this may sound, I built Runner's Studio with you in mind. I wanted to build an application that you could use and have pride in - an application that shared your pride in running.

But more than that, Runner's Studio includes many features that most other running applications leave out. It has a rich journaling feature, configurable charting options, goal setting and tracking, and a workout planner - just to name a few. On top of that, I have tried to integrate all the modules together. I really tried to build the software so that it works for you.

If you decide to take this journey with me, please let me know what you think. Drop me a note at support@runnersstudio.com. I look forward to hearing from you.
